The course was challenging and there is a great 5 stand over the water. The clubhouse held us all for lunch and with the location being just off the highway south of Belen, a short drive from the ABQ Sunport, it's close yet it's a world unto itself. Tom and his staff are welcoming and accommodating. Look forward to going back this Fall.

For someone interested in reliving the days when sporting clays targets were heavy on the fun factor rather than just a frustrating test of shooting skills; and when preserve bird hunting was an enjoyable outing with your family and friends, the Tinnin Hunt Club is a rare retreat.

Sitting next to the Rio Grande, the hunt club truly embodies everything New Mexico has to offer and more. The professional staff, facilities, and the quality of experiences are not matched by any other in the region, including the challenging, but fun sporting clays course. I would highly recommend this to any other avid hunter or shotgun enthusiast from around the country.

We recently visited THC to not only see this privately owned treasure but also the newly-completed club, sporting clays range, accommodations, food service, wildlife habitat, ponds, and waterfowl heaven. Sightings of elk, mule deer, Rio Grande turkeys, feral hogs, javelina, Gambel's quail, Sandhill cranes, waterfowl, and birds to mention a few; all living wild in this their chosen environment.

Tom, your sporting clays course is a thing of beauty, I just think when comes to my shooting we will need more shells for my next visit, as you will remember, I had a lot of misses! I enjoyed the wing shooting more than any Texas bird hunt I`ve been on in several years; the boys even cleaned my birds! The wide variety of wildlife and the different possibilities of custom hunts really got my attention, the best thing is that even for a non-hunter you offer relaxing and exciting viewing and photo safari.

I have never been on a farm that has what you have to offer. Bird hunting includes ducks, pheasants, geese, quail, and chucker. What really surprised me was that you have mule deer and elk as well! I can honestly say the improvements on your farm are also second to none. It is truly a Sportsmanship paradise within an hour from Albuquerque.

I want to give a big thanks to the Tinnin Hunt Club. This past year has been such a blessing to hunt at the Club. I have invited a few friends to shoot clay pigeons, hunt duck, chukar, pheasant, and quail. We were all so impressed with the quality of the birds. I am looking forward to hunting, and doing some bird dog training at the Club this coming season.

The setting there is truly one of a kind. The meal that evening, by chef Earl, was what you would expect for only the best in the wild game restaurants. The hunting the next day was the perfect wrap to our adventure. Open fields for explosive launches from the quail, chukar, and pheasant for a super day less than an hour from my office.

Tinnin Hunt Club's dedication to habitat restoration and wildlife management, as well as their commitment to creating a world class facility for sportsmen and women is second to none. I would encourage both novice and expert alike to go enjoy the top-notch facilities, be challenged by the world-class shooting and hunting, and just take in the beauty of the Middle Rio Grande Valley.
